Help with Bridal Shower Location
I was hoping that some of you local ladies could help me out.
My sister and I are planning a bridal shower for our SIL-to-be. We live in IL, she's in DC. We were hoping to have an afternoon tea for the shower in the DC or NoVA area. We've found a place, but it only seats 20 people, and our guest list is closer to 30. Our budget is around $25 pp for food and space. I've tried some Google searches, but "tea party" and "DC" bring up some interesting results these days. I thought I'd see if anyone more local had some ideas.

Try the Mayflower, Teaism (PennQuarter), the Hillwood Museum. They all seem to have a menu option that's somewhat in your price range.

For a similar "cutesy" cottage/tea party vibe, you could also try Mrs. K's Tollhouse in Silver Spring.
