I didn't have Hawaiian Sea Salt, so I just used regular Sea Salt. I'm curious to see if there's a difference. Also, it is a bit on the salty side, which in this case I and everyone else liked. Seems simple enough to cut back on the salt a bit if you'd like it less salty.

Melanie, I bought it at Shoprite in W Nyack right by the BBQ and hot sauces. I bought the hickory flavor. Delish!
My crockpot is a 5 quart but it's a cheap one (Rival brand) so even when it's the right size for the job it runs too hot or something. A 5.91 lb pork butt that I trimmed a bit (so let's say 5.5 lb) took about 12 hours on low to cook to perfection.
I need to get a better one. I've been lucky enough to be able to guesstimate and adjust the cook time beforehand so things don't dry out too badly.
ETA: I bought Hawaiian rolls at the Target in SV. Their new market section is awesome!

Good to hear that SV Target is done because I've been avoiding it all summer like the plague and going to Hackensack! When I went in May or June it was like a disaster zone and I couldn't find anything.
