DH and I watched a documentary last night about the FAA and TSA...thought you might be interested. It's called "Please Remove Your Shoes." There are many things in there that are quite disturbing about air travel these days, and since 9/11. Just wanted to pass along the rec.

Re: *Panda

  • Thanks! I'll definitely check it out.

I saw "Hot Coffee" last night and am reeling from all of the information in that one. I'm going to have to watch it again and check out some other sources to make sure I get everything out of it. The documentary pretty much blew my mind with how much big business has infiltrated and closed off the courts to the general public.

  • I'll have to watch that one!
  • Good to know about Hot Coffee.  I'm sure Lincoln will like that.

One thing I forgot to ask about the Bible one... What did you think about the cartoon in the middle of it?  I found it to be unnecessarily glib and sarcastic and totally didn't fit with the rest of the tone of the video.  It was really the only thing negative I had to say about it.

I wasn't crazy about it, especially since they pretty much worte off "Martha the lesbian" within the first minute. It seemed a little strange and out of place with the rest of the film. However, there was some good information in there. Could they have found better ways to include the same information? Definitely.
