quick trip ideas?
DH and I NEED to go somewhere for our anniversary in September.
Suggestions? Needs to be a 2-3 day trip so somewhere within driving distance...
Also recs for things to do at your suggestion would be helpful as well : I am not good at deciding what to do

So Tasty, So Yummy
we just spent the weekend in Austin for our anniversary and had a great time, even though I couldnt drink.
We had dinner at Carmelo's and then went to a show at Esther Follies (so fun) on friday night.
Saturday we went to Zilker Park to the botanical gardens (you could tell the drought has hurt the gardens, would have been beautiful other years) then went to barton creek and put our feet in the water.
We had lunch at Shady Grove on the way back from the park to downtown, then spent the afternoon at the hotel pool.
We had dinner at Moonshine Grill (omg, delicious but long wait... worth it) then did a little people watching on 6th street (would have been more fun if we could have done more partying)
