Nordstrom is usually well-regarded for getting a fairly accurate bra fitting but 1) it's nowhere near me, and 2) I could head down there, but I dread the idea with both kids in tow as I've not yet been to the Galleria and know it could take a while.
So I'm wondering if there are any reputable shops on the north side of town for fittings?? Or even one in/near downtown that isn't tucked away in a ginormous mall.
(Please no VS...they're notorious for being inconsistent).
Re: Bra fittings?
I like Nordstroms, but if you don't want to go to the Galleria, then Top Drawer.
I think Bra Specialist on 1960 has opened again, but I don't know how they are anymore.
This.
Just went here and got 4 new bras after getting fitted. It was great and they were very helpful.
I can't imagine having my kids with me at a bra fitting. It takes longer than any other clothes buying and they'd be trapped in a dressing room with me. But if I had to have them with me I'd prefer Nordstroms than Top Drawer.
I always park underneath Nordstroms and you can park right by the escalator or elevator, it's like a secret parking lot that doesn't even fill up at Christmas time. You just have to come from Sage to W Alabama and turn in just after the pedestrian walkway light. The first level down might be kinda full, but the lower level never is. Also, from there it's a quick walk to the water wall and a nice green space where they can run and scream.
Thanks for all of the suggestions! I haven't even been into Soma yet so I'll have to check it out next time I'm there.
What a great tip about parking for Nordstrom's, and the water wall. I usually avoid exploring large centers with the little ones in tow but having a go-to spot will make it less daunting.
SIL & I were in the downtown area today and she actually needed to go to Top Drawer, so that's where we ended up. They were really knowledgeable and I loved the selection.
