Painted Woods
We are new to the area and have been looking at homes for the past six months.
We are a signature away from custom building in Clive when a home came to our attention in the Painted Woods area in Waukee.
It has about 90% of what we were going to put into the custom built home and the other 10% we can mitigate.
Anyone have opinion or experience with the painted woods area?

When we were thinking about building, Painted Woods was our number one contender - not sure you can go wrong. Gorgeous area! We ended up buying existing in Clive, and love, love, love where we ended up. So, I don't think you can go wrong either way.

This house is in the more developed area of painted woods - just concerned about being so far away from things - uh like parks! It is too bad they didn't put in a walking trail or other features between the two developments.
