Cookbook Recommendations?
I'm looking to adding to my stockpile. I follow a ton of blogs but I really enjoy recipe books.
Re: Cookbook Recommendations?
Do you have a certain kind of cooking you enjoy?
My favorites are Alton Brown's Good Eats books, Paula Dean's books, and I enjoy Irish cooking so I have a couple Irish cookbooks
Any cook book by Southern Living is great. I also have one called Make it Fast, Cook it slow that is good. My favorite is from 1989 but I just discovered you can get it on Amazon. It's the Picayune's Creole Cook Book. My family is orginially from that part of Louisiana and I love the taste of home every now and then.
This gives you a whole range of different just dessert books.

(Sorry I can't make it clicky)
I can't think of any cookbooks for just breads and such, but if you PM what you like I've got a bunch of dessert and bread recipes from my pastry classes. Hope this helps!
Do you have an ice cream maker? I've recently started making my own and most recipes come from a blog, but they are originally from David Lebovitz.
