Would you guys mind sending me a link to the little kids soccer program your girls are involved in? I think it was in grimes? Do you happen to know whether there is a fall program? Gretta has been talking about soccer a lot lately and I regret not signing her up for the summer.

Butting in.... The Des Moines Menace has a good program and they have various locations depending on where you live. I work in the same building they do and they do a great job. Butting out...

I'd looked at Des Moines Menace but Grimes is $20. That's hard to beat.

I think we'll probably sign up too as I have credit to use up. It's a little different this fall. It's more of a clinic than practice and games.

I know G is a lot like Katen in that they love love love to be busy all the time though.I think we're going to try out swimming lessons. I didn't realize the schools here don't have a swimming course in PE. Pella did.
I want to do swimming too, of course. When I asked G what she wanted to do this fall, she said gymnastics and swimming, but then I heard about the just for kix dance that lucinda mentioned, and it was so cheap I decided to give it a shot. Signing up for soccer might mean we have to put swimming on hold for a while... maybe we'll just do swimming this winter. G is like K, she LOVES being busy. Every time she goes to sleep, at night and nap, she always asks, "what do we get to do when I wake up?" ha, the girl expects to have an entertaining activity all the time. i guess she gets that from me, i can never just "be."
