Hi everyone. I'm kind of new to Omaha, I have been here for visits and stuff like that, but I'm not sure what there is to do during the day. I'm a SAHM for now, I have a 4 year old, I just found out I am pregnant with our second. I'm kind of at a loss at what to do during the day. Any ideas? Are there any kind of mom groups?
Thanks in advance!
Re: New to Omaha
Hi Welcome!
We've got a good mix of SAHM and Working moms here on this board.
We've got great spray parks around the city for the kiddies, the zoo & children's museum downtown, great libraries. Pretty much anything you'd like to do
Hope you're enjoying Omaha!

Welcome and congrats!
I am a member of MOMS Club. It is a group primarily for SAHM and there are activities planned for almost everyday, along with playgroups, etc.
Here is the website:

Welcome to Omaha!
I don't have any kids here so no advice but congrats on the second!

Welcome. I am a SAHM as well. I am a member of the same group as Rugy above (MOMS club) but a different chapter as it's based on where you live.
Oakview also has a play area...bottom floor by the main escalators.
Mahoney state park has an awesome inside play area. We go there a lot. You do need a state park sticker and then it cost $2 per person over 3 to get in.
