Nature is so cruel. It's just so weird to me that we can take a heart out of one person's chest and place it in another chest and it will beat and provide life, yet cancer still wreaks havoc on the body and there's no surefire way to get rid of it it seems. There's such a disconnect in my mind but I fully admit that I don't understand either. 25. That's so not fair. I think what David Jay is trying to do is amazing. I think just seeing those pictures would be so comforting to someone at the beginning of their breast cancer journey to kind of have an idea of may be ahead for them.
You're not the only one.
He went out to her house last week and they filmed her and took more pictures. It will be heartbreaking to see them but at the same time she's such a strong amazing woman I can't wait for it to impact people. The first book was dedicated to someone who never made it to a shoot, I cry every time I read David's story about the black picture in the book. I have a feeling who the next one will be dedicated to, as it should. I get to order to documentary today and am so so excited.
Looks beautiful! Has he ever shot any girls with radiation burns/tans? That would help raise awareness too.
Did you end up switching surgeons for this last surgery? I have a feeling you will be a great advocate and support for other young women with cancer. Keep up the good attitude and great work!

He has taken some of the ladies photos thoroughout their treatment, I'm not sure if I've seen one with burns. He can only shoot when they can get out there and right in the middle of treatment might not work.
I used the same one. :-( No other dr wants to touch me. he can't help the complications and he's not that bad to deal with.....
