Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Nothing too exciting. Just running another 5k on Saturday, but this time with my brother.
Jon is spending the day today at his new company which is exciting. I can't wait to hear how it goes
I think we're going to a Reisling dinner on Wednesday night, which would be fun
Saturday we're going to a big picnic with a bunch of friends at their finally finished house
Wednesday's our board meeting, so I'm looking forward to Thursday when I won't have to think about board meetings for another 3 months.
I would be looking forward to getting a new car if it were certain we were, but I'm pretty sure we'll be in purgatory at least another week or so.
Stand up for something you believe in.
ugh, not much. I really dont' want to go back to work today. Although I'm hoping to have my review this week, which will hopefully come with a raise and a bonus. Might make the days more bearable. *fingers crossed*
Saturday we're having some friends over, and the husband is an awesome IT nerd-guy who's going to help me transfer PLFF material to wordpress and my own domain.
tonight, dinner with my sister and her family for nephew's 6th birthday.
Not much else until Saturday, when we have a baby shower, and then nephew's birthday party.
Tonight I'm having dinner and wine night with one of my girlfriends and my little pseudo-niece.
Other than that, my judge is out until Thursday so things should be relatively calm for the next few days.
My parents are coming in on Friday and my mom is staying for the week while my stepdad goes to boy scout camp and I have a bridal shower for one of my bridesmaids on Saturday that I'm super excited for.
Friday Mark will be back from Boston again. I am sure we will go out to eat to celebrate with him!
Saturday we are going to the farm to work on the massive garden that is going to make me never want to see a tomato again. Charlotte is spending quality time with grammy and grampy (my parents)
Sunday we are celebrating my grandparents birthdays (82 and 85) and then heading. Greater Anderson Days which is our neighborhood firemans festival. Its within walking distance so it should be fun.
I actually have a NOT boring week this week.
I plan to paint our bedroom this week...I've been wanting to do it since we moved in, but since it's the only room guests don't see, it's been on the back burner for a long time. My sister is supposed to come and help.
I plan on enrolling Buddy in an obedience class. He needs some major socialization. It amazes me how he can sit on the floor in our home with my 11 month old cousin giving him kisses and tugging his ears/tail and have no reaction at all to her, but as soon as he gets put on a leash, EVERYBODY is the devil and he must kill them....
So Wednesday we may have an appointment with a trainer (depending on what Danny & I talk about this evening).
Friday I am baking cupcakes and cookies for my cousin's fiancee's shower on Saturday. It's just a small "sisters" shower (my aunt is throwing it and only invited her sisters and nieces/nieces IL), but I think it'll be fun.
