I saw your post that you might be movng to DC. When are you thinking it would be/what areas are you looking at moving to?

We're still waiting for Tony to get orders for when he comes home, but our number one choice is a set he was offered for a job in the Pentagon. If they are still available and we get them, we'd like to be somewhere with an easily accessible Metro stop or express bus to the Pentagon. We've started looking online and think Springfield, Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington, and even further out in Manassas would work. We'd be moving in December most likely, hopefully before Christmas, not the ideal, but timing doesn't seem to working out great this time around. Of course our dream is to move back to Vermont someday
You guys are looking at moving to the D.C. area too right? What areas are you guys looking at/thinking of? It would be great if we ended up there at the same time!
We are looking at moving sometime before 10/1 in the College Park, MD area...still in negotiations, so there is a possibility of aother year in NE. S would need to be close to University of Maryland Colege Park for an additional degree he wants, but I would totally be looking at the Alexandria area if he didn't need to be in MD! I love the area-it's so gorgeous(and expensive!)
A friend of my parents lives there-he actually works at the Pentagon too! Good luck with it and keep us all posted!
Good luck to you and S with the negotiations! I'll definitely keep you posted, it would be great to have some friends in the area if we do all end up there!
