I am looking for something on the short side (not super short though) and something that will work for someone who has a little extra around the middle. No strapless, but sleeveless is cool. It can be casual, as long as it can be dressed up with jewelry, or even have a little bling on it.
TIA, I am planning a KOP trip soon but want to have some ideas first

Fun! dh and I are going Sunday-Tuesday. So excited/scared to leave Max.
No advice on what to wear. I am planning on packing as little clothing as possible since it will be so hot!
That would have been awesome if we were going the same time!
We left Charlie for a long weekend in Chicago at 5.5 months with my brother and SIL. I was so super anxious leading up to it, but once we were there I was SO glad we had done it, By the end I was missing him a lot, so a long weekend was perfect. You guys will have a blast.

I've been finding cute dresses at Target recently...esp. the one on City Line Ave. In their beach cover-up section, there are some great prints. I've been wearing this "beach coverup" as a dress on weekends.

I know, you are right. I was always the anti-black dress person, I love color!
