Did you do anything fun? See any good movies? It was hot in most of the country, so did you get some sun and relax in a pool or stay indoors with your blinds pulled shut to keep the heat out?

Re: How was your weekend?
I headed out to Rockport, MA on friday and spent the weekend there. I have to say most of friday was spent inside in the a/c. But around 6 or so DH and I hit the beach and the water cooled us off.
The rest of the weekend involved us shoving our faces, shopping, walking, and sleeping. It was great. I wish we could take the time for a week long vacation this year, but we really can't.
We went and saw Harry Potter Friday night and stopped in at one of the local breweries and shared a bread bowl of there yummy jalapeno cheese dip and portabella sandwich, and of course a beer can't go there and not have one...or more
Then Saturday and Sunday we pretty much bummed around the house! Played some video games, watched some movies, stayed in my pj's almost all weekend with the exception being we ran over to the store to get a few things.
I am jealous! I love Rockport, but I haven't been in almost 10 years.
We went out to dinner with friends on Friday and then did our grocery shopping.
Saturday we ran a bunch of errands in the morning and worked a little on the house in the afternoon. In the evening we got rid of a lot of the alcohol in our house. We wanted to sit out by the fire and have s'mores, but we had lots of storms, so we stayed in drank (a lot) and played Wii.
Sunday we went to the zoo. It was ridiculously hot. We are going to make one of these with our last name so we were searching for letters at the zoo. It made the zoo trip a little more interesting. I got some good letters too!
My parents are still here visiting, so Saturday we went to the farmer's market and ran a few errands. Saturday night I had a bachelorette party and they went to see The Lion King. DH was thrilled to have a few hours at home to himself!
Sunday we drove to Watertown, NY (2 hours) and did some shopping at Joann's, Target, WalMart, Kohl's, etc. And, we had lunch at Olive Garden. We don't have Olive Garden, so we always go when we're in the States.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermFriday evening: shopped for nephew's birthday party
Saturday: Felix & I went to nephew's party, visited my aunt, then took his mom out to dinner and shopping for her birthday
Sunday: church then lunch and mostly shopping for groceries, toletries, and other random items.
Did laundry throughout the weekend too. (I know--livin' large here!)
I pretty much had the most exciting weekend ever.... not.
Jason is still recovering from surgery so it was all very low key. Friday night we just stayed in and watched the O's game and had a couple friends come over and hang out for a little bit. Saturday we slept in, I made omlettes for breakfast with ham, green peppers, tomatoes, red onions, and cheese...nom nom nom, and then we watched "The Other Woman" which was boring. I ended up taking a nap Saturday afternoon and Jason went to get his hair cut...and that's pretty much all Saturday had to offer. Sunday was basically the same, we slept in, ate, watched the O's game, played some Wii, watched some Netflix, and that's about it. See, told ya it was super exciting
Here's to hoping he gets the ok from his doctor on Thursday to get back to normal activities so we can go get in my Mom's pull and/or have a cookout next weekend...something other than sitting on our couch watching TV.
we got home from our belated honeymoon on Friday night late (pics coming soon) and found out FIL was hospitalized with a blood clot and enlarged lymph nodes. So we went to see him on Saturday after picking up kittious and my birthday gifts at his parent's house. Then we went out to dinner and a little shopping and went to see Harry Potter.
Sunday we went to the hospital again for his dad's surgery and that took most of the day.
Fri - Went to local country club for buffet dinner and comedy night.
Sat - made pork fried rice, asian slaw. Tile shopping with a friend in process of buying a house. Went to a monthly dinner dance.
Sun - helped neighbor move his business/shop. Lots of heavy stuff and hardware. Then spent time in neighbors pool.
