Dumb HAR question - what exactly does Pending (with the little red box icon) mean in terms of where they are in the process? All's said and done, just waiting on the closing date? Or is there still potential for it to fall through?

i have seen houses go from "pending" back to "active" status - I guess the potential buyer fell through, for whatever reason.
so if it's a house you really like, keep your fingers crossed...
Does "option pending continue to show" mean the same also?
Side note: We called his aunt and she is helping us a lot. She works for a large Remax(not sure if it is this company or another) type agency so I feel much better after talking with you and her.
I would think you would likely have more of a chance with an "option pending, continue to show" than a "Pending, continue to show". An option period is usually around 10 days, and the buyer is only out their option price (usually $100), whereas after the option period is up (what bpaullo is saying that "pending, continue to show" means), the buyer would be out their escrow? (bpaullo, correct me if I'm wrong). Obviously a lot more people walk during the option period, since they are out only a minimal amount of money if they get cold feet.

You are correct. "Option pending" is still in the option period.
