Favorite Non-Crab Cake Crab Recipes
We had crab cakes this weekend and I have some leftover lump crab meat. I'm in the mood to try something new. What are some of your favorite recipes?

I love crab salad, it's not hot, but really good on a sandwich. Just add in mayo, mustard, chopped green pepper for some crunch, Old Bay. Deviled eggs stuffed with crab salad are also delicious and are one of my summer favorites.

I've also made it with shrimp and it was delicious... it would probably be good with both crab and shrimp together. I always use prosciutto for the type of ham, and I use a linguine for the pasta. Add in the crab/shrimp at the same time as the prosciutto/ham.
Sounds weird but I love crab and avocado omelets. I do eggs, egg whites, crab meat, old pay, cilantro, a little sea salt and sliced avocado. You could add some cheese too.

I also will make salad with spinach leaves, crab meat, diced celery, chopped bell pepper, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and mayonnaise. Mix everything together but the spinach and serve over lettuce. I add egg sometimes, cilantro, shredded cheese, depends on what I have. I make a citrus vinaigrette to use with it.
