Anyone else hate having in laws?
I feel like its always some type of issue with them. Gah! If I ever marry again I'll be sure to marry an orphan.
This time around I wasn't invited to my brother in law's birthday party that his fiance is throwing him. Please note that said brother in law is my business partner. What.the.eff.
You'd think after 7 YEARS they would be accepting of me. Hoars.
Re: Anyone else hate having in laws?
They suck a$$.
YES! My In laws are horribly judgemental, small town, small minded, and sometimes literally just not smart at all. They drive me CRAZY. My parents, on the other hand, are wonderful.
Somehow in life, I think it's a trade off and you can't have great parents AND great in-laws? Also, ironically I LOVED my ex-MIL but ex was obviously an a$$clown..I guess you can't have it all.
I feel fortunate for small things, like that they live 4 hours away:)
Sorry they are treating you that way, not cool. And "not letting it bother you" is alot easier said than done so don't be too hard on yourself about that...
I'm sorry they are being stupid.
My ILs are crazy and seriously just don't get it. I've gotten to the point where I just avoid them as much as possible and tell them how it is when they start irritating me.

TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
wtf? I need more details. So they said, "hey, DH you're welcome to come but dont bring C." ?!?!
If thats the case, I'd be pissed as HELL if my DH didnt put his foot down and roll some heads.
And what does your BIL/business partner think about this?
ditto, story of my life. prob should try to be more liked but trying not to care so much. They're just family right?
No Amy, both of us weren't invited. But my H is all "well I dont care I woudn't go anyways" and "honey the week isn't over yet, he will probably invite us". A holes.
I haven't said anything to BIL.
