Moving!
DH and I have been looking for a place to either rent or buy for the last few months. We live in a town of 2,500 so there aren't a lot of options. When we moved here, the duplex we live in now was literally the only thing available to rent. Our place is great...it's brand new, and we are the first ones to live in it. However, it's so small. We literally have zero storage space. Also, they just built another duplex next door that is so close I could reach out my patio door and grab the neighbor's hand.
Anyway, we got a call the other day about a rental. We just went to look at it tonight, and it was great! The rent is $175 cheaper than what we pay now, but it's an actual house and it's got a lot more space. Also, there is enough off street parking for all of our vehicles. The only downside is that we have to purchase our own appliances for this house. However, I think it will be nice being able to choose what we want.
So, if all goes as planned, we will be moving in 2 weeks (and I'll be starting to teach just days after!!).
Sorry for posting so much tonight! We just got home from vacation, so I've been MIA for awhile
