XP: Satellite TV

Anyone here have either DirectTV or Dish Network?  We are doing away with cable and want to try satellite.  DirectTV is offered through Primecast in our complex and we aren't really impressed with them so far so are considering Dish Network.  Opinions?  Does it have reliable service?  How is customer service?

    We have Dish and have for about a year. Only once has it gone out a significant amount of time. It was during a Nor'Easter, but it was back on before our nighttime shows (I just happened to have the day off that day, otherwise I wouldn't have known it was out). I haven't had to deal with customer service, really. We just moved and it was completely free and no hassle, unlike Comcast who charged us $100 for an install (internet). I have no complaints. And the space on the DVR is insane, there's not way we'd ever fill it!
