I've been thinking it is time to wash my pillows and it made me wonder how often other people wash theirs.

I have really bad allergies, and I can't stand the allergy covers
I have been reading a lot of articles online. It is best to wash them in very hot water with a very small amount of gentle detergent. Then it is a good idea to put them in the sun to freshen them and help them dry out.
By the way, I don't recommend googling this subject. I'm so grossed out now.
