I'm out for the July book :(

I went to go pick up the book today, we don't have it in our library.  I just couldn't bring myself to spend the $17.99 on it.  We have an iPad, so I checked the apple store to see if they had an electronic version, but they don't.

What makes me the maddest, is that the book was $14.99 for the US price and $17.99 Canadian.  Hello book publishers, our dollar is worth more than the American dollar!  Stop ripping us off!!!!

Is there a Nook ipad ap you can use, like the Kindle one?

I know I have both free readers on my computer so I feel like that should work for ipad too.

  • You should be able to download both the Kindle and Nook apps on your iPad, I have them both on mine. Not sure if the lending feature would work though on the app as I've never tried it. I don't know how your libraries are in Canada, but the Overdrive app for iPad is also great for getting library ebooks on your iPad. Liz told me about this app and I'm constantly borrowing ebooks from my local library through it, it may not work for this month's book club selection if they don't have it available but for the future when you just want to read something they have available it's awesome!
