Sorry, I was late getting the page.
I've been lurking for a while -- I sometimes feel guilty about it. We had originally planned a wedding for July 2010 then moved it up to January, and have a church service planned for next July.
So, about me: My civil service was a surprise at a family reunion -- I highly recommend that route to anyone! It was so easy! DH is Australian, and I moved to Australia to join him this January, a year and a week after our wedding. I mostly gotten used to daily life here in Aus. and have just started looking for a job. After 14 years as a legal secretary, I am not sure I know how to do anything else, but I am also not sure I want to work in the legal industry again. Other things: I'm a part-time embroidery crafter, full-time reader, and obsessive organizer. My favorite tv shows are: NCIS, Covert Affairs, The Big Bang Theory, and anything hosted by Adam Hills. Favorite foods: Mexican (of which there is a dearth in Australia), Chinese, ice cream, and macaroni & cheese. Favorite vacation: cruising -- 11 total, 10 on HAL, 5 New England/Canada. Favorite cities visited: St. John's, NFL and Adelaide, SA Biggest disappointment: lack of native wildlife in Australia -- I have yet to see a kangaroo, koala, or wombat in the wild.
