What is your earliest memory? I was in preschool, and it was Christmastime. We were having a gift exchange, and I received a small pink bear. I raised my hand and asked if we were getting another present because the bag still had tons of presents in it. (I meant would everyone receive another gift.) The teacher got so upset that I was being "selfish" she put me outside on the bench and told everyone that walked by how greedy I was. Not that I'm bitter about it or anything.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Picking one thing is hard, but I would say how slowly time goes by. Time goes by way too quickly now - I feel like it should still be February!
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? I'm going to go with Ace of Base on this one. I Saw the Sign of course.
What is your worst dating experience? When I was in high school, I went on a blind date with my hair dresser's brother. He was about 4 inches shorter than I was, had no personality and smelled a little funny. Never again!
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Moved across the country for my boyfriend. I guess it was a good move, considering we got married and we now have a baby.

What is your earliest memory? Being chosen to ring the bell during a Christmas pageant during daycare... I was probably 2 or 3.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Coloring all.the.time. I practically majored in it when I was little.
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? haha HANSON!!! Um hello?! MmmmmBOP!
What is your worst dating experience? I can honestly say I've never had a bad dating experience. There were dates I ultimately regretted going on (because of the guy) but the situation wasn't bad.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Had sex in a park. I was working on a photo assignment in HS and took my then-bf. We walked down the railroad tracks and ultimately ended up back in the woods.
What is your earliest memory? I can somewhat remember breaking my collar bone at age 3 but it's hard to distinguish if it's a memory I've created from being told about or it's my own. I do remember throwing coins into a wishing well in NJ when I visited family down there about that age as well-- and I remember marrying my boyfriend in nursery school. Those were all between ages 3-5.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Being able to walk barefoot on rocks... seriously miss that one!

What is your worst dating experience? Oh my... the date right before I went out with DH-- I met this guy while apartment hunting and he asked me out. I met up with him at a restaurant in Harvard Square and I ran into the ex-gf of my ex's cousin (they lived together) and she was on a date too-- she acted SUPER awkward and it just made me weirded out. So at dinner, this guy tried to be "too cool" by saying that he's only in grad school because his job pays for it (I was in grad school too... ) and he tried to play footsie with me under the table (who does that?!? I was wearing dansko clogs too... not really footsie wear).
Then he said we were going to the movies, and instead we ended up at Blockbuster. I already knew where he lived and that he had roommates since I had viewed his apartment so I felt semi-ok with that plan but was still nervous. We were walking into BB and he grabbed my @$$. I turned around and yelled at him that that was completely inappropriate and he grabbed my boobs. UMMMMM.... WTF. And he did it one more time. I am ashamed that I still went back to his place to watch the movie but about 30 minutes into it, I made him take me home. I felt so violated and disgusted that I walked straight into the shower.
DH and I went out for drinks after work that next night and I told him the story... and he knew what not to do on a first date with me!
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? I'm not the craziest person ever... I can't think of anything too crazy!!
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Summers off and going to the pool every single day. That was the life.
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Oh, wow. I don't know. Probably Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

What is your worst dating experience? None, really. The only things that sucks were more the end of relationships. I've never had an awful date. But, I didn't really "date" much.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Sex in a hotel pool. With other people in the room in the hot tub. Or, egging a house in high school. Oh! Or, when we "kidnapped" a friend for her 18th birthday. Her mom helped us by blindfolding her before we came over. We tied her up and got her in the car and drove off. It was so much fun.

What is your earliest memory? It's not a good memory, but it's my earliest one. I was probably a year old, and I remember my bio-dad throwing a lime green hair comb across the room. My mom was standing in the doorway of the bedroom and I was sitting on the bed.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Spending my summers riding/training/showing horses
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Any of the boy bands...Nsync, BSB, 98 Degrees -- although, now that I'm thining of it, I think that was more of my HS days Favorite song of theirs? Uhhh...I honestly can't remember!
What is your worst dating experience? I once dated a guy who was 23, lived at home with his parents, had no drivers license (thus, no vehicle), had a son who he didn't pay CS for and left with his parents on his weekends, etc. Needless to say, I didn't date him very long after finding out all of this...
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Crazy...or stupid? I snuck out in the middle of the night with a laundry basket full of my stuff, had my then-BF pick me up at my parents house and lived with him for 2 weeks without telling my parents where I was. I was mad at them for grounding me and taking away my truck and my cell phone lol.
What is your earliest memory? Hiding in the bathroom at preschool. I have no idea why. I also remember being really mad when they separated the boys and girls at nap time (why did they do that?) because the boys go to sleep in the room with the blocks.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Amber & magda have it right - when did time move so fast, and when did my feet get so tender?
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? I don't think I had one. I don't now either.
What is your worst dating experience? I didn't date much, but I did have a awkward experience when I lived in IL. One of my coworkers (all the young engineers at this plant hung out together since pretty much all of them were from OOT and under 30...80% moved away eventually, and the ones that married local folks moved into management, from what I gathered) had this friend who would come visit, and was always trying to set us up. I must have made out with him at some point (I can't remember) because right before I quit he visited and I remember he basically followed me around all night and tried to get me to take him home.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? eh. I'm not too much of a living-on-the-edge person. Going to college halfway across the country was probably a little nuts. I did go skinny dipping once in an apartment pool, is that crazy?
What is your earliest memory? A large family dinner at my Grandfather's house shortly before he died. I was under 3 years old and this memory didn't come back to me until years and years later when I saw a pepper mill in a store and remembered he had one at the table that day and it all was so clear and vivid to me.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? So much. But currently it has been summers off from school. I miss long days spent at the lake with friends, riding bikes, playing jumprope and staying out long past dark.
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? Wow, I have no idea. I think that's when I got into 'old' music thinking it was trendy. I was also pretty heavy into Guns N Roses.
What is your worst dating experience? I went out with a friend of my sister's once who was a bit older than me. He asked me out, so I said sure. Then I found out I had to pick him up because he didn't have his license due to an OUI. Then he wanted to go to Old Country Buffet for dinner. Then he let me pay for movie tickets (when I offered, only being polite). I suffered through the movie, dropped him off and ignored his calls for the next month (literally).
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Not the most dangerous, but when I was in middle school my friend and I snuck out of my house in the middle of the night to meet our boyfriends (who were in high school). We stayed out all night and snuck back in at like 6am. For me, Ms. Goodytwoshoes, that was pretty crazy.

2012 Reading Challenge
What is your earliest memory? When my brother was born. My grandparents bought me a fish and I remember that it lived on top of the TV - one of those old TVs that were built into a piece of furniture and had a table top on top - and that we moved it because someone was afraid of the radiation from the TV affecting the fish. So we moved it to the dry sink in the dining room. I remember it didn't live very long. Yeah, I was only 2.5 months older than P is now (2y3m). But I know it was my memory because I'm sure noone else would remember that we moved the fish or why.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? summers at my grandparents with my cousins who lived across the street. I was more upset when my grandparents sold their house than when my parents sold the one I grew up in.
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? I guess I liked the hair bands, especially the ballads, like Mr. Big's "To Be With You." Key changes always get me
What is your worst dating experience? Not a dating experience (I don't think I really had a bad one) but some guy tried to pick me up on a subway platform when I was in grad school by asking if I had a boyfriend (said yes, even though I didn't) and then followed up with "well does he treat you right? If you know what I mean." Ugh. Thankfully the train came right after that, and he got on a different car. Or didn't get on at all. I can't remember, but I was relieved when he didn't follow me.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Kind of drawing a blank here. I guess going swimming in an old abandoned mine that had been filled with water. My friends were jumping off the cliffs, but I couldn't see without my glasses and was afraid I was going to hit my head or slip or something. I guess I wasn't that crazy.

What is your earliest memory?
This is hard...I remember being sick and my parents putting a sheet over my crib and the humidifier in there with me. I think I had croup. I was probably three? I slept in my crib til I was 5 because I was small.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid?
Summers that seemed to last forever...going to the lake with my dad, not having a care in the world!

In middle school I think I was really into The Cars and The Fine Young Cannibals. I was a weird kid. I also always loved the Rolling Stones, thanks to my parents. I loved The Cars' Just What I Needed and FYCs' Good Thing. Also loved the Eagles' Hotel California album.
What is your worst dating experience?
For our first date once a guy took me to dinner and a movie - he took me to see Fahrenheit/911 and he cried through.the.entire.movie. It was weird and a huge turnoff.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done?
Get knocked up, I think. It is crazy scary, but amazing too. Otherwise, I'm pretty risk-averse so really nothing.
What is your earliest memory? My neighbor scaring the poop out of me...literally. I was 4.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Having no responsibilites other than homework and chores.

What is the craziest thing you've ever done? I have done a lot of things some people wouldn't dream of doing so I can't really say what the craziest is.

What is your earliest memory? My days in daycare when I was probably in kindergarten and we used to get to swim at a local pool and they would tell us if we peed in the water it would turn blue and everyone would know. I also remember playing with catepillars, playing fortune (you know with the paper fortune teller things you made), MASH, and swinging on the play ground there.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? having the summers off
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? I honestly can't think of anyone at the moment. I think we were heavily involved in church back then and my parents had us listen to Christian music, so my favorite was probably a band called the Newsboys and I also listened to country then and like Shania Twain and Magda reminded me all school dances were all Boys II Men.
What is your worst dating experience? A date I met off of match.com who showed up with a herpes blister on his lip and we ate wings and the sauce was on the scab and I couldn't stop staring at it and he wanted to kiss me goodbye. I never answered his phone calls after that I was so grossed out.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? skydiving when I graduate with my bachelor's in 2004. I am now terrified of heights!
What is your earliest memory? 1st grade. I remember I had to go to the bathroom reaaalllly bad and the teacher would not let me go. So I just left and went to the bathroom.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Playing all night long (well until the street lights came on)

What is your worst dating experience?I dated this guy shortly after B and I broke up in HS. He was a HORRIBLE kisser. I think I was his first kiss
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? Had sex in a VW van.
What is your earliest memory? I have vague memories of being dropped off at my parents' friends' house when my mom was going to the hospital to have my sister (I was 2). One of my earliest specific memories is from Kindergarten - my teacher had a really long Greek name and she taught the whole class how to say it and when the principal came to see us, our teacher showed off how we could pronounce her name.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Ditto Amber on this one - time moves so quickly now, sometimes I wish it would slow down!
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? hmm.. probably NSync (even though they were late middle school/early high school). Loved all their songs
What is your worst dating experience? My junior year of high school I was kind of dating this guy friend of one of my friends and one night we left our friends house and he was walking me to my car and it was our first kiss moment. and it sucked. haha. so awkward and barely a peck.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? probably staying with Tim through 4 years of college/long-distance. Obviously worth it given where we are now, but looking back at it, I realize how crazy we were!
What is your earliest memory? I remember going over to my great Aunt's house, her son had MD and I remember them having a cocker spaniel named Rocky. But I would always get a ride my cousins wheel chair. They would tuck me between his feet and he would wheel me around. I think I was 3 or 4. But I remember their house being a big green house.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Truely enjoying a play ground and letting my imagination run wild. I came up with crazy stories as a kid.
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were in middle school? Favorite song of theirs? Ugh, I really don't think I cared that much about music in Middle School. I listened to most country music, so I guess Garth Brooks. I don't remember a favorite song.
What is your worst dating experience? I dated this one guy who was little off, and he was telling me about how he tried to escape the mental hospital. Then he tried to show off in his car and he ended up not seeing the stop light and hit a bicycle cop. The cop was ok, but it was so scary. Needless to say that ended quickly.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? A group of us got together and went streaking through the middle of a very large philanthropy event in the middle of our college campus. We waited and did it at 2am, (24 hour event) and the campus bar had just closed so everyone from campus was pretty much at the event. Thankfully we went as dead presidents....
What is your earliest memory? I honestly dont know. I think it would take me a while to figure out what is earliest.
What is one thing you miss about being a kid? Summer vacation. Playing with friends all the time.

What is your worst dating experience? Where do I begin? I dated some real winners let me tell you! I never actually had a bad date but dated bad guys. Literally. I liked bad boys. Honestly this topic could go on for a while.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done? One of my favorite stories. I did cartwheels past Big Ben at 2AM completely hammered wearing a shirt that was slit up the front. Like it looked like a warewolf came and clawed up the front of my shirt. I was double sided stick taped in. This was also the same night we went to a "gay" club to see Paul Okenfold or however you spell it and I was felt up by the bouncer after paying $70 to get in (stupid conversion rate). This was also the night I first kissed a guy that I met in London while dating my boyfriend. (Both of whom happened to be from the ATL area). Ahhhh what memories. Sometimes I miss being carefree in another country. (And being of legal drinking age there but not at home.)
