Question for moms
I am wondering if any of you have suggestions for 1st bday gifts? I am having a hard time deciding what to get Ella. She aready has a wagon and some push/ride toys and an activity table. I will probably put some money in her savings acct. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest something their kids really likes at about a year. It would need to be more for inside since her bday isn't til October.

We also got Sloane a kids oversized chair from potterybarn. She loves it still. How about dolls? Toys R Us sells a Graco set for baby dolls that has a pack n play, bouncing seat, etc. Cardboard books?!!!
I noticed a big change in Sloane at about 18 months. We got lucky and that fell around Christmas so she got from various relatives a kitchen, table/chairs, a kids piano, toy guitar, crayons/coloring books, cash register, big piece puzzles, lawn mower that blows bubbles.........think ahead and just store it until it's time?!
OMG I have a huge box of those in the garage! I didn't even think to get them out. My sister gave us SO much stuff last spring because she moved to Arizona. That is where the wagon came from, and she gave us one of the little tykes basketball hoops and a tricycle.
I like the chair idea I will keep that in mind, though I don't really know where we would put it. I think I am telling Chase that for Ellas birthday she wants a bigger house. That's not unreasonable, right?
She doesn't really have any bathtub toys, maybe I will get her some bath stuff... I wanted to get her a little swing but I don't really have anywhere to hang it. I really am hoping to move before too long so I don't really want to buy a swing set just yet.
I know I said inside, but what about a cozy coupe? Would she be the right age for something like that next summer? Even if we didn't get it for her birthday it's something to keep in mind for Christmas, I guess.
