I came home from the park with my dog last night...and I was coming in the back door I hear my doorbell. Dog goes ballistic (still on his leash) and I drop nearly everything else I'm carrying. As I'm trying to collect myself and get to the door... you ring it again....and again... and again. Seriously? I definitely just ignored you at that point.

Have fun in Vegas but not too much fun! Wish I could go but with the baby we have to save all the PTO we can and someone had to watch SD since you "forgot" to tell her mom we needed the days off. Glad we hadn't bought my ticket yet when we got her schedule for the month. I'll miss you but have fun!

A job interviewed me for 6 hours on two different levels of interviews. I thought I had it, but they intended to give it to someone else the whole time. I was really pissed when I found out!

Most everyone sells out or places restrictions pretty much every Tuesday/Wednesday at the airport. However, I just shopped Travelocity and it looks like all brands are available. Not sure why she wouldn't be able to get one?
Hertz and ERAC are sold out but Avis Budget, Dollar Thrifty, and Advantage appear to be available.

I, too, am over you. Yesterday felt like walking in a giant hairdryer. Courts keeps singing "wake me up when September ends." I'm so glad it's almost August which means we're getting closer to the end of the misery.

This is pretty typical for academic faculty and librarian positions. It stinks.
