Update: Grandmother's surgery
She went in about 9:30 and I just got a text from my mom that she is now in recovery and was alert and talking. They didn't put her as under as they originally thought b/c they wanted to make sure there was no nerve damage in her tongue from the surgery. My mom won't be able to see her for a couple hours until she's moved to the ICU for the night. She is going to run home for a bit and will return this afternoon and will update me further. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers.
