Dirty stovetop

I have an old school stove, and the metal pieces that go under the burner are a hot mess. Any ideas on how to clean these?  I've tried removing them and soaking in hot water with no luck.

Re: Dirty stovetop

  • Honestly, if you're talking about the drip pans, I'd just throw them out and start over. A new pack is dirt cheap at the hardware store.

Agree I would just get new ones. You can also get liners to put in new drip pans so that don't get as crappy.

  • If you get new liners, cover them with tin foil so that you can replace the tin foil when it gets dirty.
