So remember last July my SIL wore a pink shirt with camo writing that said "This is all his fault" (that didnt fit) to her own baby shower?
Well I think shes pregnant again. Which is just what the world needs...
Daniel is 7months old, and still she will not feed him any baby food or soft table foods. ONLY a bottle. My other SIL got reamed out for giving him a cheerio =/
Saturday night she let him fall out of their bed (because he sleeps with them, and they were out cold)
Last night she went to the ER for a "cold" and when they left BIL said she had some weird sickness(non specific). I think shes just trying to keep it under wraps bc my other BIL's wedding is this weekend. We shall see.
Re: SIL entertainment
The comments on other situations in the past about "Why do those people get a baby when I can't get one" used to kind of bug me, I'll be honest.
Now that we've been TTC for awhile I TOTALLY get it. Why do these morons get pregnant so easy??
I'm sure there may be plenty of reason's that she's not doing a good job, but I'm not sure that's one of them. Baby led weaning (BLW) recommends not starting solids before 6 months. She may be a little behind, but there may also be a reason, even if it's not the norm.

FWIW I have no idea what to feed a child and when (that's what my mom will be for!).
My comment was based on the t-shirt and the going to the ER for a cold. Going to the ER for a cold drives me up the freaking wall b/c that means they're likely on welfare. Maybe not, but I'm willing to bet they are.
Oh yeah, I'm with you on the rest of it sounding crazy!

Yeah there is a very large range of healthy. I know you already responded to this, but just adding in that I agree with Lauren and that Gabby was only 16lbs at 8mos. She was on the low end of the percentile chart, sure, but her weight gain was consistent and our doc was not worried in the least. Nothing wrong with him not eating much anyway right now. Most of his calories SHOULD be coming from breastmilk/formula anyway still at that age. I would think she would want to start him on some soft foods tho just for practice. But to each her own.
The whole thing of him falling out of the bed is the biggest concern to me. Sometimes Ava stays with me because after her waking up constantly I'm exhausted however I'm on the end and theres a barracade so nobody will get by her.
But yah with the bottle thing. My doctor has said that babies until 1 year solely only need breastmilk or formula.
Everyone is different but I definitely was not ready to start Ava on solids at 4 months when most can start cereal and actually we tried at about 5.5 months (I make all of my own baby food and did brown rice cereal and she wasn't having it) and so we backed off. Now she likes avocado's, magoes, sweet potatoes, carrots but she only gets that once a day and it's actually not a lot. It's more to get her used to eating. Some blogs I follow are doing the Baby Led Weaning and are eating chunky food....that's not something I want to try yet but hey to each their own.
My doc said as long as on the chart they create an arc from birth on up then they will not be worried. Ava is about 22lbs at almost 9 months so she's definitely on the bigger side haha but daycare has opened my eyes to all shapes and sizes.
this made me LOL and then i felt like a bad person.
my first reaction to the cold/ER visit was that she MC and they wanted to keep it private.
