Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Submitted an application...how long to wait to call?
I submitted my application on Friday and was told they are actively hiring and I should hear something soon....when would it be ok to call them? A week later?
ETA: They just called me this afternoon and set up an interview for tomorrow

For me, this would depend on the type of job, if it was an application or a resume. Most of the jobs I apply to state they do not want to receive phone calls or they pick websites where you don't really have that option. I know at my part time job, we do the traditional "application" and we are always "actively hiring" but it can take weeks to months to complete that process.
You can call next week and ask if they have hired, confirmed they received your application and ask when they hope to interview/make a decision.
