How was your weekend?
Ladies!! How have you been?
Friday: DH and i finished watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (we're re-watching all the HP movies before seeing the last one). It was way too hot in our living room, so we then sequestered ourselves in our bedroom with the AC on and ate spaghetti and watched 2 episodes of The Tudors season 4.
Saturday: I was at my internship all day, proctoring a written exam that teacher's were taking to get certified in ABT's curriculum. Then i graded those tests. Then DH and i met our 2 guy friends at one of their apartments in Brooklyn and went for Thai food then back to his apartment to make and eat homemade ice cream and watch the Red Sox game.
Sunday: DH had a softball game but i didn't go. I took a nap before having to be at work by 2pm. It was a slow night so i was actually let go before 10pm!! Ate my Thai leftovers, chatted with DH and then went to bed.

Harry Potter and the Tudors all in one night? That sounds awesome!!
Friday was DH's birthday and his parents happened to be in the neighborhood, so we attempted to go out for dinner, but DD was feeling so crappy we had to leave. We pretty much spent the rest of the evening cuddled on the couch watching Flushed Away.
Saturday was DH's birthday party (the entire family came). We also cleaned a lot in the morning, our apartment has never looked so spotless!
Sunday morning, we had an appointment with a real estate agent to look at our apartment (hence all the cleaning). After he left, DH's aunt, uncle, and cousin came by to hang out; my mom and dad also stopped by. Then Sasha and I took the most fantastic 3-hour nap! DH went to play hand ball, while kiddo and I hung out at home, and then he even brought home dinner!

Sounds like you girls had a fun weekend.
Friday afternoon, H and I did a little shopping in Soho. That night, H and I went out to dinner in our neighborhood. We went out to celebrate his new job.
Sat, we went to a birthday brunch for one of our friends. Nice place that I've been before, good conversation with some old friends, and then this: It is amazing how strangely rude people are sometimes
Sat night we went out to dinner in the neighborhood again with another couple that was also at the birthday brunch. They live not too far from us but we rarely get to see them. They also came over afterward for some drinks and chitchat.
Yesterday, H and I just chilled around the house. We went out to dinner again. Afterwards, I videochatted with my family.
Nothing too exciting but good nonetheless.
Fun weekend. Yesterday we went to a fun reggae festival in a park near our nabe and it was fantastic. Although I did get soaking wet because of the rain that caught us by surprise. But fun show, good food, nice times.

Weekend was good. Low key and good.
We spent an afternoon in the supermarket on Saturday. We needed groceries and it was crazy air conditioned.
Sunday, DH took the boy to Sam Ash and they played drums and keyboards and guitars. Hysterical. Then we had dinner out at an actual restaurant, not fancy, but still, not a chain joint, and the kid was good, so it was a win all around!
It was a great weekend but too damn hot! Whew!
Friday - just draining. Avery had her appt to get her first shot. DH goes to get the car to cool it off before we get in it, and its leaking anti-freeze. He drops she and I at the DR and he went to the mechanic. Poor baby got her shot, and I cried with her. It was so pitiful. We went home, ordered takeout and watched movies while I snuggled with her and massaged her fat little leg..:(
Saturday: My birthday! The husband totally spoils me, I got a bunch of great gifts and we had plans to go to dinner - the 3 of us. When we got to the restaurant, there was a ton of my friends there - what an awesome surprise. I didnt see that one coming whatsoever.
Sunday: We went house hunting on Staten Island. Saw some great houses, but none of them was "the one". I was appalled by the piggery of the people who lived in one of the houses and refused to go in it. LOL. They opened the door and we got a whiff of cat pee. I turned around and went right back in the truck. lolol
Friday, I wanted to go to a family merengue festival, but way too hot for DD. So, we visited a friend who had AC and family visiting for the weekend.
Saturday, I cleaned house and watched a movie.
Sunday, we celebrated our anniversary a day early. We got a babysitter, a friend's daughter. Then we spent 6 hours at spa castle in their pools and saunas. That's about all I can go without needing to BF or pump. Then we went into the city to Smith and Wollensky for Restaurant Week with DD who slept the whole time.
Let's see if I can even remember what we did this weekend. lol I'm getting old...
I'm pretty sure I went to my 'rents house on Friday for a dip in the pool (I think lol). Saturday, DH and I left the kiddo by my parents and went to see "Friends with Benefits" in the movies and Sunday DH worked a side job, so DD and
I stayed in the house all day. This all sounds about right. lol Happy Tuesday!!
