I'm back to work today. I had an awesome long weekend! Seriously, more fun than I've had in a long time. We had my family reunion up north, and it was a blast. I got to see a lot of relatives who I haven't seen for years. My family is crazy and hilarious and I love them. I'm sad that it's over.
GVSU - I think that's a great photo. Good Luck in your review - I had mine this morning too. Mine went swimmingly so I hope yours is the same. :-)
Kasa - How fun! Long weekends w/family and friends are the best.
I have so much stuff to do at home right now. We're having guests up for the weekend again and I did nothing to prepare last weekend. It sucks to be here watching the clock.
I have several sick days left and those don't get paid out after I leave like vacation time. How bad would it be to call in tomorrow? LOL.

GRSP, at first I read your post as your parents were mid-cruise and you just found out about it. That would totally happen to me--my parents are so bad at looping me in.

HA! No, my mom's been talking about the cruise for a while. She wouldn't go swimming in the lake on the 4th of July because she didn't want to get swimmers itch because it would affect the trip. She wouldn't open my blog because they do some bill paying online, and blogger may have given them a virus that would have taken all of their money out of their account, and that would have screwed up the trip... it goes on...
I know Alaska is a monster, but I wasn't aware of that southern penninsula. Huh. New thing.
GRSP, it's cute that your mom was so looking forward to the trip that she didn't want to do anything to jeopardize it.

Uhhhh... that's interesting! It is cute that she's so excited.
And I did know that Alaska reaches way south, but I've been a geography nerd since I was 8, so I'm probably a little weird like that.
