Building Permit frustrations
So we still have a driveway, temp power, and a phone line.
We still don't have a building permit grr!
We met with the soil engineer and paperwork has been submitted to the health department. We need to dig a well to get a building permit and we need a permit to dig the well. The health department says they won't issue a well permit until we get a building permit and the county won't issue a building permit until we have a well :-[ ummm HOW?! Basically we need to get both of the permits in the works and they will both pass around the same time and all 3 parties involved will be happy. I swear if it were up to me I would have given up on this process over a year ago!

ugh we are starting our process so I completely feel your pain right now. The only good thing is we are already living on the property so we have water, electric, garbage and all that.
But we are getting bids to build the house and you do not have to do that.
I just got our first bid while the price per sq ft was really good at 65.00 they completely did not listen to me when I told them I wanted stained concrete floors and put a high total in for flooring. If they do not listen to me now then will they listen to me while we are in the middle of building?
