s/o thank you notes

I have a college friend who knitted a blanket for Emily and it should be arriving today or tomorrow. She's been a total AW about it though. Like tagging me in her FB status whenever she works on it, tagging me in photos of the finished product, and she's sent me two messages on FB that she's sent it, plus we had a chat about it this morning.

I know she's pretty darn proud of herself because it's her first finished project, but dang. Calm down girl!

It's making me not want to send a TY, because I feel like I've said TY for it 5 million times already.

PS: i believe it's in my tagged photos on FB if you want to see it. Brown and pink blanket.

Re: s/o thank you notes

  • Of course you *should* send her one.

I'd be tempted to find a tongue-in-cheek/someecards type of thank you... Not that I'd go through with that, but I might daydream about it.

  • Yea I agree you should send one. Since shes so worked up about it, she'll really feel like you love it just as much by thanking her a million times plus sending a card.

  • I say still send a TY card.  I'm guessing she's posted so many things because she's excited about it.  Big projects that I do for friends, I can be the same way. So if you send her a TY card I bet she'll be over the moon excited.

  • Well of course I'll send her one, I just don't really want to. The funny thing was when I chatted with her on FB after I got it, and said it was beautiful, she did an amazing job, etc etc, she basically acted like it was no big deal. You know, like she makes blankets everyday. That I got a kick out of.
