Updated Nook Question!

After shopping around today and trying out the Kindle, Kobo, & Nook I decided on the New Nook Touch.  I purchased it online b/c I had a first time user 15% off coupon for B&N so I don't have it in hand to play w/ yet.  I'm really excited about it I can't wait to get started. Other than B&N where else can I purchase ebooks from?

I am going to go to the library this weekend so I can learn about how to use the library books! I hope the books on my reading list are available!

Liz- I pretty much decided the same thing I just saw you had replied with to my previous post. If I was going to go w/ the Nook Color I might has well have upgraded even further to purchasing the iPad. I am really excited about the projected number of hours the battery should receive!

Re: Updated Nook Question!

  • Every eReader but the Kindle (for now) is compatible with Adobe publications. So that means when you download Adobe digital reader to you computer, anything that can be made into a PDF can be transferred to that program, then uploaded to your reader.y friend said that she had fellow students upload music scores for class and take their reader with them instead of a textbook or laptop.

and like i said before, don't be surprised if your battery life goes downhill really fast after your first initial charge. Despite that, I'm still really happy with my nook.

  • I thought Kindle could handle PDFs... I don't think I've done it, but my MIL has a cookbook in she wrote (TONS of family recipes) on her kindle. Not that this fact is one bit relevant to the Op... lol...
