Don't you just loooooove it when...

A contractor tells you that they'll be at your house on a certain day, and then they don't call and don't show... And, isn't it even better when it happens a few times in a row?

They might actually show today, since it's not even 10am, and they're coming from the Bristol RI area. If they do come, they will likely have to pick up supplies on their way. But, still... I'm not holding my breath.

Oh well... on the bright side, if they don't come today, that delays the project another day or two, and my money can stay in my bank account that much longer.

Ugh. If they didn't do such awesome work, and get a boatload done when they ARE here, I'd be reluctant to even let them complete the project.

Hah! I absolutely hate dealing with any type of contractor. It drives me insane. You'd think that making money would be motivation enough to show up on time. It's even worse when they pick the day/time they want to come and then no-show!

Hope they show up soon for you!

It's not your DH, Corry. Although, I'd love to have him and his crew come out and take care of doing our plantings either in the fall, or (more likely) in the spring :)

If I didn't live on one of the smallest streets ever, you'd likely drive right past and miss the house completely, Pam. It looks soooooooooooo different already!

    Everything.

No, seriously though, major tree/brush removal, grading the front slope of our property, extending the lawn... Replacing stairs and walkways. All of these things are for safety as well as aesthetic purposes.

When this stage of the project is done, we'll be about 1/2 way through all the plans, holding off on the plantings until I can decide what I want to put back in front of our house, and on the hill to the rear of our property.
