Hi ladies, I'm in need of some help. I'm wanting to make some framed map art for a friend, but I have no idea what *kind* of map to get. Here's an idea of what I want...
I bought an atlas of the US, but it's not the right look. I've tried searching online for gazetteer, topographic, and geographic maps, but I can't find the right one to get this look. I would also need 4 different states so I'm hoping to find something that might have all 50 states together. Is this something I could find at Barnes and Noble? I could order it online if it is *perfect*, but I'm worried about one, my timeline (about 2 weeks) and two, that it won't be right and I will have wasted even more money.
Any ideas?
Re: need help: maps
Hmm, I would probably search Ebay and look for local "area" maps. Some of those look similar to the "zoomed" in sections on my atlas.
You can also try the Rand McNally Website and probably National Georgraphic to get an idea if they have what you are looking for.

Stand up for something you believe in.
A Gas station should have a display full of folding paper maps.
Do you belong to AAA? If so, you can get them for free there.
Or you might want to look for a local map store. We do have one here, but when my kids needed maps for school projects, we always got them at the store near my mom's when we visited, because they had the most awesome maps to choose from.
