Need some vibes...
Word on the street is that many pink slips will be issued at my company tomorrow. Even though I'd get a great severance package, I can't fathom being laid off right now on top of everything else. There are hardly any jobs in my field right now, and the ones that are out there would mostly require relocating - which is not an option with my sister so sick. Since he got laid off a couple years ago, DH's salary is really low and can't support us. I'd have to hold off on fertility treatments... meaning we possibly would never have a child... it would all just be awful. Plus, I actually kind of like my job lately.
The good thing is that I've been very busy lately, working on a brand that is launching in a few months, and am very well entrenched with my team, so I'm hoping that will keep me safe. Please keep your fingers crossed that I still have a job at this time tomorrow.
