How you been feeling?  Noticing any symptoms yet?  Did m/s or any food aversions start yet?

Re: *Liz*

  • I get slightly nauseous right before or right after I eat, but it usually passes. I've had cramping and my boobs are sore. H says they don't look the boobs he know and loves, but he likes these just as well now that are getting bigger. Overall I'm holding pretty strong, but I just hit 5 weeks today.

How are you holding up? You're 2 weeks ahead of me! It sounds so short, but it feels soooooo long!

  • I remember 5 weeks!  I felt GOOD!

M/S started almost exactly at 6 weeks for me.  Feel like I've had it forever.  I got Zofran from my Dr. yesterday and it helped a little but still felt queasy.  I want to eat lots of different foods but most of it doesn't appeal to me :(   I hope and pray you don't get m/s!

  • Me, too! My sister had it awful when she was pregnant. She got the medicine they give to chemo patients and she was still nauseous. I've already started carrying around a bottle of Tums with me because I do sometime get a little indigestion as well. It really helps settle my stomach, especially after lunch.

Mel please make sure you drink lots of water (hopefully you won't be dealing with it Liz, but if so then you too!)

My sister had the WORST m/s with all 3 of her pregnancies and ended up in the hospital for dehydration every time. You'd think after the first she would've learned...but anyway, hydrate hydrate!

  • Do you guys have bumps yet? I know it's early for others to notice, but can you tell when you look in the mirror? So exciting!

I always have my water bottle close at hand and I just finished it for the 2nd time today. That's a total of 48oz of water today and I'll refill it in a bit.

I have bloat that sorta looks like a bump, but not nearly as cute.

Checkity check!  I pretty much only drink water all the time so I'm doing pretty good with it.  The other day it tasted gross but it seems to be getting better.

Not really yet.  It's more bloat than anything.  But it definitely looks different than normal AF bloat!

  • **Another one butting in** My m/s was the WORST I had it from week 8 to 20 and I was convinced I was going to die. My best tips are to not overeat, icees and other cold food treats are your friend and the thought of drinking plain water made me more nauseous so I ended up drinking a lot of lemon lime gatorade which seemed to help with the nausea. Oh and don't forget about all the great ginger items out there! By the way.. you think your boobs look weird now.. wait until you get into 3rd tri Wink lol.
