Today, I ran 20 minutes straight for the first time in my life. I know for some of you runners that's nothing but for someone who was a couch potato, I'm really proud of myself. I took a week of because of the shin splints so I was afraid I'd regress and not be able to do it but I did.
I can FINALLY move on to week 6 of C25k!
Oh, and I have lost 17 pounds. That's not really since I've been working out but I'm calculating from my heaviest. In the last two weeks I've lost 2.5 inches overall.
I will be in "skinny" jeans for Disney! I'm determined. I had to have somewhere to put all that focus I used for grad school ![]()
