Divorce Wars in MA
Did anyone see this the other night?
It was in DH's hometown, which delighted me as I *love* to make fun of the town he grew up in (as does he).
It was about this couple and the DH hid a bunch of his money (transferred it to his bro's acct) right before he filed for a divorce from his blood sucking leech of a wife. So the wife hires all these people to go after him for this money.
She had NO mortgage. This HUGEASSED house on the water and no mortgage. She said, "All I got was this house and $750,000 in settlement money. He has all the rest!"
So the narrator came on and said, "3 years later, money is quickly running out..."
Dude. With no mortgage, how the EFF do you blow through $750k in 3 short years? I mean, I could totally do that. But if you KNOW that is ALL you have to live off of until some poor new sucker marries you, wouldn't you try to be a tad frugal with it?
