I don't want to talk to H about this until I know for sure.
A week ago I forgot to take my BC. I'm about mid-pack. We didn't have any sexy fun time that night, and I took it the next morning. I started bleeding that day and it hasn't stopped. I've forgotten my BC before and never had this bad of a reaction. About 2 days ago I noticed a little grey mass when wiped. There's been more since then. Again, this has never happened before.
Not to bring up any painful memories for people, but is this what a miscarriage is like? I called my doctor and he just said that its a reaction from not taking that one day. I'm starting to think its more serious than that...any thoughts/suggestions?

Baby Sister is coming soon!
Miscarriages are different for everyone from what I can tell, so there's no way to really say if that's what it is.
Missing a pill can also mess with your cycle. I'd take a pregnancy test and go from there. If you are having a miscarriage the test will be positive - your levels won't go down until it's "done".
If it's positive or if the bleeding won't stop you'll definitely want to go get checked.
Hope everything is okay!
Where in your cycle were you?
i had my miscarraige at 5 weeks. it started just with pink with wiping (once) and then turned into what a normal period felt like. then, about 24-36 hours later i started passing pretty large blood clots (like 3-4 inches long). i had to wear a pad constantly and i had mild cramping..nothing severe. nothing gray...definitely everything was red red red.
my pregnancy test was negative by the time I went to my followup appt on Tuesday (this all started Thursday) but my levels were super low at the ER on Thursday already.
I'm going to go with the doctor on this one. Being that you only missed one pill and didn't have sexy time that day depending on what type of estrogen level are in the pills it can easilly mess with your body.
I used to be on a BC that literally if I didn't take it at the same time every morning by the end of the day I would start to bleed.
When I got put on the shot once I passed something similar and the nurse said not to worry that it's probably just lining or something like that.
It takes 6-12 days for implantation to occur after the conception date so I think you're ok.
You may want to check with your doc about the type of BC I had to end up getting on a very low dose after that.

I'm w/ City on it's likely just one of those things.
FWIW, I had an ectopic, resolved w/o surgery, so essentially the physical effects of a miscarriage.
At the risk of TMI-- everything needed to 'pass through'. I'll spare you the unfortunate details, but I can assure you nothing was gray or even close to gray. Everything was red to dark red. And the major tell-tale-- I bled for, without exaggeration, multiple months (mid-Jan through early Apr).
I doubt it's a miscarriage b/c of the timing. I was early on when my complications were diagnosed, but even early on the bleeding was a) not gray and b) last far more than a day or week or even a month.
I'd be shocked beyond belief if you had a miscarriage, but see your doc for sure.
