I'm a big gift giving nerd!
So Gift Giving is one of my love languages. H has been looking at DSLR lenses for our camera. Crutchfield is a local store for us and we get a lot of electronics from them. They have great open box deals, often for 20.00 off and the item carries the same warranty as a new item. My credit card has crutchfield gift certificates as one of the rewards options. I got a 200.00 lens for 130.00 between open box deals and reward points.
His birthday is in September but I know he wants this lens for hunting/scoping pictures late this summer. Tomorrow marks 2 months until his birthday so I am going to make him a card, wrap up the lens, and make a birthday cake for his 27-2 month birthday. I'm excited...like I said gift giving nerd!

I'm also a gifter..i totally get off on giving other people stuff..lol
Sounds like a great idea to me. Hope he loves it.
I love giving gifts and wish I could do more of it.
