What is this pinterest I keep reading about? I'm afraid to check it out. DH thinks I'm addicted to The Nest and Facebook already. I won't check it out, but I'm curious. Do you know what it is?

it's the best bookmarking system ever. It's basically a really fancy virtual pinboard. I use it to remember projects, recipes, etc.
Basically - you see an image on a site that you want to remember, so you click your "pin It" bookmark button (on your toolbar) and it saves it to the specified board.

I don't fall down a pintrest k-hole like I can with the nest and facebook. I just use it instead of my bookmark folder. It's much better.

It's wonderful is what it is!
I use to keep track of numerous good ideas and crafty things, plus other stuff I just like the look of and want to return to. It reminds me of when I was about 11 and had a bulletin board in my bedroom that I pinned all kinds of magazine cutouts and pictures to. This is just like that, except virtual, which means the options are limitless.
