My mom called me this morning to tell me that my sister has 8" of sewage in her basement :-( I am just heart broken for them. They live in a ranch style home and all the kids' toys were in the basement and sadly are all getting thrown out! I don't know what to even do to help out. On top of that, my hometown is flooded yet again and Dubuque got 13in of rain! I cannot imagine all that people are dealing with right now!
Re: What can i do to help?
can you send cleaning supplies? stop at the dollar tree and get some fun cheap stuff to hold them off?
What ages are her kids? If we have any toys that would be appropriate to give them, I'd happily find some to send along to them...
So sorry to hear about this
What a yucky situation.
This, This, This! C has way too many toys/books. If their kids are a similar age, or close, I would love an opportunity to weed some things out while helping a deserving family.
