As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Can anyone spare any T&P my mom is in the hospital...Update
with possible viral meningitis. She woke up at 5 am with her whole body shivering. Her teeth were chattering. My step-dad took her to the doctor, because that's where she wanted to go, and the doctor sent her to the ER. The doctor thought that she might have strep throat that might have gotten out of hand because she's asymptomatic, and he wanted her to have some fluids. The did an MRI or Catscan (i don't know which) and determine that there was an infection and they needed to do a spinal tap. We are waiting on the results right now.
She won't let us come to the hospital, in case she is contagious. I know that viral is better to have than bacterial meningitis, but I'm still very worried! This is not something you need to tell me, I need the end result. NOW! If you could please spare some thoughts and prayers for my mother. We are very worried about her right now, and don't want anything to happen to her.

I just got an update from the Hospital, thank goodness it's not Meningitis! The spinal tap came back clean! The doctor is still waiting on her blood work to come back, but he said what ever it is, it's one heck of a virus. Her temperature when she arrived at the hospital was 102.9. It is now down to 100.5 since they started the anti-biotics. I will update you all more when I know more. Thank you all for the T&P!
