PIP's of your wedding/engagement ring? I thought it might be fun.
Did H help pick out wedding bands with you?
Here is mine.
I have a simple princess cut like this..

Then my wedding wrap is this..

Re: PIP of Wedding Ring
heres our rings, mine is a princess cut, it's a 'leo' stone so it has a way cool little diamond on the inside of the e-ring band. and my wedding band which i'd really like to get another on of for the other side of my e-ring.
Here are my rings. I showed DH some pictures of what I liked and he took his mom and my sister with him when he bought it. This one is kind of a combination of a few pictures I showed him. Someday we'll get another band to put on top of my e-ring, but we'll probabaly wait until our 10th anniversary or some other significant date.
here are ours...
DH selected my engagement ring all on his own - he actually had two for me to choose from (he had one made at a local jeweler, chose the setting and diamond but had a 30 day return policy; he then found a nicer diamond and a prettier setting for the same cost and proposed with ring #2). Being an engineer he gave me all the specs on each ring and let me choose which one to keep. Keeping both wasn't an option - LOL. My wedding band is channel cut diamonds all the way around, which is great since there are always shiny pretty things, no matter how it rotates
and I still play at making rainbows from the diamonds when I'm in a car or on a plane.
Sorry for the huge pic; it isn't super close on the rings at the smaller size and you can't seet hem.
C picked out the E-ring all on his own. I picked out my wedding band. He picked out his band, which I wasn't fond of at first, but absolutely love now.

Ering (this is not mine, but is nearly identical--the difference being, mine has flowers and ferns in place of where those geometric triangle things are flanking the diamond). this was my mummu's (father's mother)
Here are our rose gold wedding bands. Mine was made to fit the curve of my vintage ring. Both were given a lovely hammered finish. We decided what we wanted together. We automatically decided we wanted matching bands, and we discussed what metal, shape, finish, etc, we each liked. We love them!
Here is mine. We went shopping together, then he sent me with a friend to our friends' jewelry shop and I fell in love with this one. Then he waited another 16 months to propose...

Here is our bands:
Here is my ring on my finger:
Zach had my ering made from scratch, going off of what I said I wanted, and what he thought looked good. It's fun to know he was in every aspect of the decision making process. I had my wedding band made to match, and he had his made the way he wanted. You can't see from the picture, but he's got 4 sapphires on the top and bottom in the corners of his band (well, 7 total now - he lost one).
This is the best picture I've got right now but it's not super clear because my ering was rotated and the photog didn't tell me (gr). My ering is 3 round cut stones with the largest in the center, white gold band. Wedding band has 11 smaller stones, round cut, also white gold. DHs is tungsten with a textured band around the middle of it. We shopped for wedding bands together but didn't really *need* to get matching ones - he's always liked the look of tungsten and no diamonds and I liked the bling
DH picked out my ering himself after we had gone to look at things together - I knew I wanted 3 stones and white gold and round cut. He ended up picking out a really nice setting for them that I love so it worked out well.

I don't have any pretty wedding ring photos on my work computer so I pulled these off of our old planning site.
My ering is a princess cut solitaire diamond with a white gold band. He 'picked it out' himself but I told him I wanted a princess cut diamond and wanted it to be a solitaire set in white gold lol so there wasn't much room for him not to get it right. I picked out my wedding band, it's white gold with small princess cut and baguette diamonds in it.
Jason's ring is a stainless steel band that has grooves around the top and the bottom. He does warehouse/labor type work and wanted something that would last but also something cheap enough that if something were to happen to it then he wouldn't feel horrible about having to replace it. This is a really bad picture of his, it's actually very handsome/pretty in person.
My H wanted saphires in his ring soo bad! But we couldn't find anyone who would do it. Where did you get it done? We cheaped out on his in hoping that we would eventually find someone to create a ring with gems/stones in it besides diamonds. Do you have more pix of his?
Keith picked out my engagement ring 100% by himself. I had no idea what was up. But he did great. I love it!

My Wedding Band w/ My Engagement Ring by Tisha_McFluffy, on Flickr
I had always wanted an amethyst on each side of my main stone. We both have February birthdays, and purple is my signature color, so that's what I'd always hoped for. He couldn't find a setting he liked that would work, so he bought the ring with the hopes that I'd be ok with it and maybe we could get a wrap for it that had the amethysts.
Well, I LOVED my ring, so no worries there, but I was still sad, because with the setting it has, it's impossible to fit with a wrap. BUT, we found this amethyst band and it was PERFECT. It's got 11 amethysts around it and we had been together 11 years to the day (almost to the hour) when we got married. So it's beyond perfect.
We don't have a great pic of his ring, but we have this one from our photog. His ring is tungsten.
