Zits! Tell me what to buy!
I'm desperate and on Sephora's website right now.
I know hormones have a lot to do with it, but these zits/acne I've been getting lately is just out of control. I do wash my face twice daily and moisturize. I currently use Dove bar soap (recc'd by a friend's derm) or Neutrogena's Acne Wash and exfoliate once/week or so.
My skin is combo, I guess - T zone is very oily and cheeks are dry.
Anyway, tell me what you think would help!

I really like this stuff:

Me too! But I super duper (duper) love this stuff. It's pricey but lasts a really long time if you only use a pea sized amount each time as you are supposed to. The acne care gel is really what does it for me. Get it, you won't be sorry!

I love the Clinique Acne Solutions too... but salicylic acid is a no-no during pregnancy because it is absorbed directly into the blood stream. A face wash that contains less that 2% is ok, but any leave on gel/cream isn't: http://www.babycenter.com/0_safe-skin-care-during-pregnancy_1490031.bc
I used the Boscia Willow Bark -- something more organic during pregnancy and nursing. It was recommended by the girls working at Sephora, didn't smell terrible and wasn't too expensive.

Most of my break out issues have always been hormonal due to my PCOS, but I noticed once I stopped using all the fancy facewash and started using Cetaphil I get maybe one zit when I'm PMSing and thats it... Before I used Cetaphil I was always breaking out all over my forehead. It was gross. I also use a facial brush with it to exfoliate a little bit.

A clarisonic! Seriously they do amazing things to skin.
I use mine with fash wash my dermo recommended. Cerave...
A lot of zit product has Benzoyl Peroxide which is really tough on the skin, unless you know your skin can handle it (like Tiff) then I would steer away from it.) It overdries which can cause those really deep painful zits or your skin to be way worse then it was to begin with.
The school I went to had a great skincare line, and you can get a good entry level kit that is matched to your skin type for $45, wash, toner, scrub, spot, and other things depending on skin type. Its a great deal if you want to get started on a good skincare routine.

(and it's all natural, crunchy-crunch)
Ha!
I use this too.
DANG you Jamie! I was just going to tell Tiff the same thing
