speaking of babies and food...

When did you introduce foods besides fruits and veggies to LO? Like dairy (cheese/yogurt) crackers, deli meats...etc. Doc said we could start it just seems early.

Re: speaking of babies and food...

  • Evan's dairy allergy kept us from doing much but he had graham crackers and toast around 10 months.  I think we started soy yogurt around 11 months maybe...I'm not sure.  He didn't eat "table food" (meals) until after a year I think.  He ate a lot of veggies, fruit, chicken, noodles until then!

He had deli meat for the first time probably 4 months ago and we think he might be allergic to nitrates now but that's a whole other issue.

  • We started crackers, bananas stuff like that around 7ish mos and then gradually progressed. Both of mine were on table foods by 10 mos and eating like maniacs by a year. =) Hunter had some restrictions due to milk intolerance but that cleared up by 14 mos.
