Bakery recommendations?
I know this is asked fairly often, but the stupid search function doesn't work.
A friend of mine is looking for a bakery on the north side to make the cake for her daughter's first birthday party. Any suggestions?
She is thinking of going with Ruth's Sweete Justice. Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with them?

I haven't personally had experience with Ruth's but I have a friend who has, and it wasn't great. The cake is only so-so and they didn't do the design correctly at all (either time). So I would personally not suggest them.
I had my wedding cake done at Sugar and I can't NOT say enough good things about them. The cake is to die for... SO good and yummy and they are so friendly and great and realy work with you to give you what you want.
They used to only be in Norman, but they've recently opened a second location on N. Western.
