So remember the link I showed of our soon to be new house?
Well the seller offered a deal. Instead of the getting a credit for some minor repairs, he is giving us all of the staging furniture instead!! This includes a dining set (not pictured) that I had been lusting once I saw it and was trying to find something similar. So we can cross off some items that we needed to buy off our list HOORAY!!!

eek! I can not believe I get to FINALLY talk about housing stuff!!!
Also, I want to re-paint the bathroom as I am not a fan of the blue gray. What should we go with? Off white, shell, taupe??? HELP!

Congrats!! I love this house, most of all the kitchen!
My experience with bathrooms is find the shower curtain and accessories you want, then pick the paint color. I've done it the other way around and then find a great shower curtain that would look great but clashes with the paint I've already bought!
Ha! I guess so but I don't like them that much.

Also, did you know that we have not used any of our stuff (minus the vacuum) that we got on our wedding registry? We were saving it for when we got a new home. Now we can finally use them! Sweet!

The house is just so cute. I'm totally jealous. And for the bathroom I would probably go with a dark tan that would be found in the tile.

I don't like that blue either, we actually repainted one of our bathrooms that was a similar pale pale blue color. Our 80s tastic house has almond colored fixtures and we painted a nutmeg-ish color....wish I could remember, I'm sure the paint cans are in our basement (lol). Neither of the bathrooms have any natural light and the dark color looks really nice, we do have a lighter colored shower curtain.
I also agree with Crystal, pick your shower curtain, then paint.
Pick like 4-5 colors you like and paint on the walls before you buy one. There have been several times that I think I like a color in the color deck and then I hate it on the wall. Luckily DH is pretty helpful in the paint area:)

I guess that is another thing to figure out. Hmmm...Bed Bath and Beyond here I come!
and yes, I am not a fan of white either (DH suggested) as dirt and other stuff pick up so easily!
